Trapped in a maze, haze and long days

Gaze and daze then drift away

Then a day came to stay,

the sun never went away

The sky cried and rain littered the dry hide

Of the maze’s skin; pinned to the ground

I do not move, it is rude

Let the land drink its food

Its thirst is quenched and the sky returns to dark

A mark, this park, this maze, this haze

Is sick of the ticks destroying the sticks that created this maze today

So say what way you’d take to stay within the maze

While haze separates and allows me to see

The trees bears and bees

To follow their lead and succeed

In retreating from a maze that surrounded me
